Given that Manchester will be the first city in the United Kingdom in which citizens can sign up for an ID card;

Aware that the aforementioned represent constituencies in Manchester;

Postulating that their votes in favour of ID cards means that they think that possession of an ID card is a good idea;

Suggesting that supporters of ID cards believe that if one has nothing to hide, one has nothing to fear;

Demand that they should lead by example and be among the first to sign up for a biometric ID card in Manchester in the autumn of 2009.
